Americans began their return to the cities in the 1990's and 2000's.  Along with this homecoming there has been a renewed interest in the urban genre.  Last year I began a series of 24" x 36" acrylic abstract studies of the Richmond, Virginia skyline, reminiscent of the traditional mid-century modern cityscapes that were popular in office buildings in the 1950's and 1960's.
